7/29/2011 11:16aI am an old school drag racer. Maybe not as old as some, but nevertheless observing what the young people of today call drag racing is rather sad.
The art of building your own race car is almost gone in many places. Finding an old jalopy with old school charm to boost up is what true drag racing is all about.
The factory cars today are already so fast right off the showroom floor, there is just no need to do much modifications. Learning about motors, suspension, wheels, tires, exhaust systems etc. and then applying that knowledge is a feeling most young and beginner drag racers today never have a chance to experience.
How can you put your skills and talents to the test if everything comes included, so to speak.
For those wanting to learn some old school drag racing tips, techniques and most of all tricks..
